Ultraprobe® 201 Grease Caddy

Category

Avoid over-lubrication with the Ultraprobe 201 Grease Caddy. This useful tool assists lube technicians to know when to stop adding lubricants.

With UE Systems’ heterodyning and acoustic filtration system, you can clearly hear bearing sounds in noisy environments.  The grease caddy is sensitive enough to pick up the sound of the grease entering the bearing, so a lube technician can recognize when to stop applying lubrication.  The Ultraprobe 201 Grease Caddy has a handy holster set and carry case.

Additional Info

When lubrication levels drop, friction increases, producing ultrasonic waves.  These waves are very directional and localised.  Attachable to most standard grease guns, the Ultraprobe 201 converts high frequency sounds to the audible range where bearing sounds can be heard and recognised.  Even in noisy environments, the Ultraprobe 201 Grease Caddy helps users to know when to stop lubricating.
The Ultraprobe 201 Grease Caddy helps lubrication technicians recognize the correct amount of lubricant to apply to each individual bearing. When used properly, this product will dramatically reduce the problem of over lubrication and related bearing failure.

Additional Useful Features:

  • LEDs show visual indication of ultrasound amplitude
  • Use LED bar graph as guide to know when to stop adding lubricant.
  • Built-in light for dark areas
  • Adjust to odd angles
  • Heavy duty headphones for high noise environments
